About the 1940s Room at Plains Inn
In the 1940s, we were in WW2. While men were away at war, women were working to keep up the economy. The “Slinky” was invented in this decade and Jackie Robinson was the first African American to play in Major League Baseball. This room has two twin beds and a sofa that pulls out into a full size bed. The bathroom features a high-back clawfoot tub and shower.
